Pedagogical leader for SFO and Club at Mørkhøj School

At Mørkhøj School we are looking for an educational leader who will lead the SFO and Klub, supervise our resource pedagogues and ensure that all children meet safe and meaningful communities – both at school and in their leisure time.

Your task – close to practice and the children

You will be responsible for the daily leadership and development of SFO and Klub. You set the direction for the pedagogical work, follow up on interventions and support the staff in turning common goals into actions in the children’s everyday life.

You will also become the professional leader for our resource pedagogues. You will coordinate interventions, facilitate professional sparring and ensure systematic follow-up on child-related cases and action plans. This requires solid special pedagogical knowledge and experience in developing inclusive learning and leisure environments for children with special needs and children in vulnerable positions.

You must be able to enter into complex child cases, qualify pedagogical interventions and support a trusting parent collaboration – even when it is difficult. You will work closely with the school’s staff and our cross-professional TPT team to ensure timely and coordinated interventions.

You will also build and maintain collaboration with SSP, the Youth School and the district’s kindergartens, so that we together create smooth transitions from early childhood to school and from school to leisure life.

You will become part of a close leadership team where we share knowledge, take joint responsibility and help each other succeed. We advise, challenge each other’s decisions and get involved in each other’s tasks because we believe leadership becomes better when we think together.

We expect you to have a strong pedagogical and special pedagogical expertise and solid knowledge of children’s various participation possibilities.

Who are we?

Mørkhøj School is a small local public school with about 450 students and about 70 engaged staff members. We have good green spaces and strong ambitions for children’s learning, well-being and community.

We work purposefully to create participation opportunities for all children and strengthen collaboration across school, leisure and professional areas. We have good APV results, an engaged staff group and a leadership team that prioritizes trust, curiosity, collaboration and shared responsibility.
