Pedagogical aides and educational assistants at Børnehuset Regnbuen

Regnbuen has received a lovely new extension, which expands the number of kindergarten places while Regnbuen continues to have 32 nursery places, therefore we are now seeking new pedagogical assistants or pedagogical aides who will contribute to creating a wonderful child life for the children.

The positions

We are seeking 2 permanent pedagogical assistants/pedagogical aides for the nursery

We are seeking 1 permanent pedagogical assistant for the kindergarten

We are seeking 1 pedagogical assistant/pedagogical aide for a temporary one-year position

We are seeking 1 flying/floating position, where one has hours in both the nursery and the kindergarten

All positions are 37 hours and are expected to be filled from 01.01.27

About The Regnbuen Kindergarten

The Regnbuen Kindergarten is an age-integrated nursery with about 32 nursery children and up to about 67 kindergarten children.

Regnbuen has in September 2026 taken a new expansion of the kindergarten into use.

That means that we gradually get more children and therefore need more staff.

The Regnbuen Kindergarten is part of the Daycare Area East, which consists of a total of 5 kindergartens in Mariager and Hadsund.

The values of Regnbuen Kindergarten are: Care, Community, Security and Joy. Staff and management contribute in a collective and in open dialogue to ensure that the work and learning environment in our kindergarten creates opportunities for both children and staff to develop.

The pedagogical work takes its starting point in

• an appreciative view of children with a high degree of child involvement in daily routines, play and activities
• a learning-oriented approach, where nature, outdoor life and science, language and communication as well as culture, aesthetics and community are the overarching themes.
• a relational approach with elements from ICDP and theories of attachment, where concepts such as mentalization, affect regulation, affective attunement, presence and the zone of proximal development are central concepts.
