Four dedicated pedagogical assistants or pedagogical aides for the Akvariet nursery in Østerbro

Do you want to help further develop our nursery, where we place emphasis on care, security and well-being, and where there is both a focus on the individual child and the group of children’s well-being, then it is you we are looking for.

Vuggestuen Akvariet is normed for 60 children distributed across five rooms. We have four adults in each room for 12 children

The nursery is located at Næstvedgade 3, Indre Østerbro.

About you

We are seeking an assistant who has the following professional qualifications

• You are present, caring and can be enthusiastic about working with the children
• You have an interest in the development of nursery children
• You are interested in further developing our culture, both in relation to pedagogical practice, parent collaboration and staff development
• You can work with planned activities in relation to the composition, age and development stage of the child group
• You have personal resilience, are solution-oriented and can take on challenges with a twinkle in your eye

Employment terms

The position is initially 37 hours per week and with employment on 16 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The employment area is the Children and Youth Administration in the City of Copenhagen.

Vuggestuen Akvariet is part of the Indre By/Østerbro Cluster F (cluster IBØ F), located on Østerbro. The cluster consists of eight units in the 0-6 years area.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.

We obtain child and criminal records checks as well as references from previous workplaces in connection with the employment.
