Valdemarskolen is Herning Municipality's special school and we educate about 270 wonderful students, all with special needs.

We are currently looking for a pedagogical assistant for our K-track, where students have major functional impairments and special needs, which means they require a lot of help and support throughout the school day.

Pedagogical assistants at Valdemarskolen are indispensable to the students’ everyday life and an important part of the school's teaching environment. Our professional environment is diverse and specialized, and we take pride in creating a varied and motivating school day for all our students.

Salary and employment terms

The position is full-time (37 hours per week).

Salary and employment terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and a child protection and background check will be conducted.

Further information

Working hours are placed on both school days and non-teaching days (school holidays) within the time frame 7:00–16:00, on Fridays within 07:00–14:45.
