Pedagogical assistant for after-school club – 25 hours per week

Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new pedagogical assistant.

We are looking for an open, proactive and respectful pedagogical assistant who would like to become part of Aktivitetshuset and help create a safe, fun and developmentally oriented everyday life for the children.

Aktivitetshuset is Sletten School's after-school club for the Otterup subarea, the Northwest subarea and Otterup Realskole. We are based at Søndergade 6 in Otterup.

About the job

As a pedagogical assistant you will be an important part of the children's leisure time. You will help create good framework where the children feel seen, heard and valued, and where there is room for both community, play, creativity and activities.

You will, among other things,

• create good and trusting relationships with the children
• be a present and clear adult in everyday life
• take initiative for activities and be active together with the children
• support communities and help the children engage in positive relationships
• meet the children in an appreciative manner and with respect for their differences
• collaborate with the other pedagogical staff about the children and daily life in the club

We are looking for someone who

• is open, welcoming and positive

• is good at building relationships and meeting the children where they are
• can initiate activities and is keen to participate actively themselves
• is present, caring and respectful in your approach
• can be a clear and responsible adult

Salary and employment terms

Expected salary range will be provided at the first interview. The final salary is determined based on your qualifications and previous professional experience and after specific negotiation with the trade union.

Criminal and child safeguarding checks will be obtained before employment can commence.
