Pedagogical assistant / pedagogical aide - 30 hours at SFO-Nymarken

We are looking for an educational assistant/pedagogical assistant 30 hours per week, with an interest in pedagogical sports/movement. SFO-Nymarken belongs to Nymarkskolen, which is a two-track sports school, located in the town of Slagelse. We have about 600 students, of whom about 250 attend SFO.

A bit about the job

SFO-Nymarken is a certified Idræts-SFO, and pedagogical sports/movement is a natural part of everyday life in SFO-Nymarken. We are an offering for children from kindergarten to 3rd grade. The SFO is workshop-divided, and we place great emphasis on the individual child having freedom to choose a workshop in the afternoon. We have the possibility to use the hall/gym 3 times a week, and we have some lovely outdoor areas that invite a lot of exciting play-activity-movement.

All children in SFO have the opportunity to participate in an after-school activity at least once a week. These activities will have different themes, such as ball games, dance, apparatus gymnastics and the like, which will run for a given period. The instruction is carried out by internal staff or guest teachers from clubs/associations.

We work closely with the primary school teachers, and all pedagogical staff are attached to one class team with a fixed meeting structure. All pedagogical staff have 2 weekly lessons in the class they are attached to. Teamwork and collegial feedback are essential for a good and developmental collaboration and are therefore highly valued, just as it is important to be able to collaborate across disciplines with various professionals.

SFO-Nymarken is open every day in the hours 06.30-17.00, also in school holidays. If you want to help give the children of Nymarkskolen a fun, different and physically active free time, and you can see yourself in the following, it may be you we are seeking.
