About the job

Are you a pedagogue with knowledge of the special area? Then it might be you we're looking for.

The Linde Allé residential care offer is organised within Aspect, which is part of the Center for Temporary and Independent Living (CMSB).

About us

Aspect is a large organization with many housing units and many opportunities for the individual employee. We consist of three temporary care placement offers and two longer-term residential care offers.

We work systematically with neuro-pedagogy, Low Arousal and Cognitive, Resource-Focused and Appreciative Practice (KRAP). We place high emphasis on professionalism, and offer you a thorough introduction program, where you will be taught and trained in all the aspects the work requires.

Something that characterizes us as a residential care facility and organization is that

  • we make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people
  • we work together to solve things
  • dilemmas and challenges are raised in the team with involvement of management

Our goal is that, through our professionalism, ability to share knowledge and sparring, we can create a positive change for our residents.

We offer professional supervision, personal individual supervision and team supervision, because we recognize that it is a factor in the work that we must be able to accommodate and handle the issues and challenges we encounter with the resident.

About Aspect Linde Allé

The Linde Allé residential care offer is a § 107 arrangement for young people on the autism spectrum with comorbidity primarily of psychiatric nature. Linde Allé houses 15 residents.

There is a fixed team consisting of four staff members.

About the job

Our target group is young people with a high cognitive level and with diagnoses within the autism spectrum disorder, Asperger's Syndrome as well as comorbid disorders such as ADHD, OCD, Bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, etc.

Your tasks will include, among other things, supporting to learn strategies to master everyday life and not least support to participate in social contexts as well as support regarding other authorities in the resident's daily life. This also includes clarifying education, employment and further life path for our young people.

It can be challenging work at times with many dilemmas and difficult issues, and it is therefore an exciting and versatile job where days are not the same.

We offer

  • a workplace with great professional development, shared responsibility, commitment and high work ethic
  • concrete and structured training regarding tasks/residents, where we have descriptions of the approach and an introduction program
  • a varied and exciting everyday life, where we strive to achieve results together with the residents in relation to their development and with an understanding of their challenges
  • mutual flexibility - for us, the balance between work life and private life is important, as this leads to more satisfied employees. This means that you have a basic plan that can be adapted if you have special challenges with shared custody, transport distance, etc., and that your colleagues cover for you regularly when you have special needs, where we expect you to contribute when your colleagues have needs

For us it is important that

  • we start from the relationship with the resident to be able to support them best in their development
  • we have a high professional environment and work purposefully with development plans and methods
  • we take responsibility for solving the team’s and the organization’s tasks

About you

You are a trained pedagogue or have several years of experience within the field, and it can be an advantage that you have knowledge of the special area. Otherwise, the most important for us is that you thrive in an environment where trust is the driving force for how we perform our work. You will therefore join a team where you plan your own day and organise your work around the residents with involvement of the nearest manager.

If you can see yourself in the statements below, you are the type we are looking for at ASPECT

  • I want to work on motivating residents to use their resources psychologically, socially and physically to have a meaningful everyday life
  • I support residents in creating structure and overview of daily tasks in relation to their own home and education/employment, as well as maintaining and developing their social network
  • I can work independently, and taking responsibility is a natural way for me to perform my work
  • I know that documentation is important, not because it is a legal requirement, but because it is the residents’ lives we document
  • I thrive in a environment where collaboration is alpha and omega, and where knowledge sharing, sparring and dialogue are natural ways to solve my tasks
  • I see value in us being a center that always wants to develop, which is why we prioritize activities across the center – both social and professional
