Who are we?

Juvelhuset is a social-psychiatric residential facility with residents admitted under the Social Services Act §108 and §107. Going forward we will also receive residents under §107A, where clarification of support needs and future interventions will be a central part of the task.

We work from a recovery-oriented and rehabilitative approach, where residents’ resources, hope and development opportunities are in focus.

We are looking for

We are seeking an educator who is passionate about applying their pedagogical competences and creating meaningful development processes together with the residents.

We imagine that you

• have experience with or an interest in social psychiatry and residents with complex support needs.
• can establish and maintain professional relationships and work from an appreciative, recovery-oriented and rehabilitative approach.
• have experience with or an interest in pedagogical support where structure, predictability and relationship work are central elements.
• can translate pedagogical methods into practice and adapt the effort according to the individual resident’s needs, resources and current situation.
• are strong in observation and can identify changes in well-being, behavior and level of functioning and translate these into professional reflections and actions.
• can support clarification processes through systematic pedagogical observations, documentation and professional assessments.
• see documentation as an active professional tool to create development, continuity and quality in the work.
• thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration and actively contribute to common professional solutions around the resident.
• understand the connection between pedagogical, health care and treatment interventions and can navigate the cross-field between these.
• are willing to work with medication management according to current guidelines.
• are professionally curious, reflective and contribute positively to the development of both practice and the working environment.

Your tasks

As an educator at Juvelhuset you will, among other things, need to

• support residents’ development, well-being and mastery of their own life.
• prepare, follow up on and document pedagogical interventions.
• contribute to clarifying residents’ support needs.
• participate in cross-disciplinary collaborations with, among others, nurses, treatment psychiatry, authorities and relatives.
• support residents’ medical treatment and health-related interventions.
• contribute to the continued development of the professional practice at Juvelhuset.

About the position

The available position is 37 hours per week with working hours between 7:00 and 23:30 and work every 4th weekend of 12 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and other terms according to the applicable collective agreement and Ny Løn principles. When employed, a criminal record check will be obtained. Herlev Municipality operates a smoke-free working time.
