In Skoven we are looking for a warm, present, professionally curious and competent colleague who has an inherent joy in being a meaningful adult in children’s lives. It is important to us that you want to co-create meaningful frameworks and moments for the children's community, as well as for the individual child. You understand the importance of known and clear structure for children’s well-being and prioritize supporting it in practice.

We are a smaller kindergarten normed for 64 children and about 12 staff. In addition, there is an educational leader close to practice.

In our kindergarten you will become part of a safe work community, a stable and engaged staff group with high job satisfaction, humor, joy and professional curiosity. Here there is room for reflection, sparring and plenty of smiles in daily life. We believe that the best frames for children are created by adults who thrive together, laugh together and help each other. Psychological safety is a priority.

It is important to us that you want to be an active part of the children’s everyday life. That you can follow their initiatives, immerse yourself in play and at the same time create structure and security when needed.

You will report to a room with three skilled colleagues who will welcome you. In the room you, together with your colleagues, will create good conditions for play, learning, well-being and development for the room’s approximately 22 children.

You will experience approachable leadership that is close to daily life and prioritizes practice, dialogue, professional development and employees’ well-being. We believe that good solutions are created together.

In Glostrup Municipality, all employees are offered the first module of ICDP training.

In Skoven, all pedagogues have one hour per week for preparation and all assistants have 30 minutes per week for preparation.

Skoven

Consists of two properties, with about 400m between the properties. Our nursery is normed for 36 nursery children and our kindergarten is normed for 64 kindergarten children.

We are located in Glostrup, in the area called Hvissinge, close to forest and green areas.

Despite two properties and 400m between us in everyday life, we work closely together around our common children and practice.

There is an application deadline of November 20, 2026.

The position is to be filled December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter for 35-37 hours per week.
