Pharmaconomist / Laboratory Technician for Production of Cytostatic Chemotherapy at the Capital Region of Denmark's Pharmacy

We manufacture chemotherapy for cancer patients and work every day to ensure high quality, patient safety and timely delivery.

We are seeking an engaged colleague for our Cytostatics Production, who wants to contribute to the important task and at the same time be an active part of the strong team spirit that is essential for our success as a production unit.

Our core task

We service the hospital's cancer departments and pre-prepare chemotherapy for cancer patients in accordance with current quality requirements and BEK507. You will work closely with both new and experienced colleagues, primarily in manual production under aseptic conditions. In addition, we use a semi-automatic robot that manufactures about half of the treatments.

Part of our staff are qualified to perform final inspection of finished preparations. This is an important patient safety task where documentation, production and compliance with the doctor's order are checked before the treatment is released to the patient. The competence is part of the training.

Other tasks in the department

• Contribute to optimizing workflows and supply security
• Actively participate in developing a good working environment
• Ensure compliance with current production requirements
• Take on tasks within hygiene tests, documentation, cleaning and robot operation
• Work with clinical trials, including maintenance and operation
• Participate in professional groups focused on e.g. products, equipment, facilities, hygiene and inventory management

We are looking for a dedicated and systematic employee with good collaboration skills

You will be employed as production technician and your education can be laboratory technician, pharmaconomist, or similar. As a person we value attention to detail and working systematically and structured. We expect that after a thorough qualification and training program you can independently handle the tasks.

We expect that you

• have a relevant education as pharmaconomist, laboratory technician or similar
• are proficient in Danish, written and spoken
• have experience from regulated work, e.g. production, QC or QA
• can work day, evening and weekend shifts (approximately 10-14 “irregular” shifts over 8 weeks)
• work in a structured and independent manner
• enjoy precision-driven tasks and collaboration in a team

Terms of employment

This is a full-time position with mixed shifts.

The workplace is Herlev Hospital.

After training you will join a shift plan with mixed shifts (day, evening and weekend shifts). The shifts are in a base window of 06:30-21:00. All shifts are part of your total weekly working time of 37 hours. There may also be shifts on holidays.

Salary and terms of employment

Employment is in accordance with the below collective agreement. The starting salary may vary depending on your seniority, experience, education and the geographical location of the workplace.

In addition to the starting salary you may have
