About the job

Would you like to help strengthen residents' quality of life, functional ability and independence at our nursing home?

PlejeGribskov is seeking an engaged physiotherapist for an exciting combined role, where you become center therapist at our nursing home and at the same time take a central role in gathering and supporting our network of improvement agents.

The position is vacant due to organizational changes related to the health reform, and we are therefore seeking a physiotherapist who is passionate about the elderly field, maintenance training, interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development.

You will become an important resource for both managers and staff and will have the opportunity to influence the development of health-care quality across our nursing homes.

About the position

As a center therapist you will play a central role in supporting residents' functional ability, mobility and quality of life through maintenance training and a rehabilitative approach.

You will contribute to helping residents maintain their resources for as long as possible, and you will become an important sparring partner for staff regarding mobilization, transfers, training and prevention of functional decline.

At the same time you will coordinate PlejeGribskov's improvement agents. Here you will support learning, knowledge sharing and quality development across our nursing homes and help translate good ideas into concrete everyday improvements.

Your tasks

  • As center therapist you shall
  • Plan and carry out maintenance training interventions for residents.
  • Assess residents' functional ability, mobility and need for physiotherapeutic intervention.
  • Contribute to the prevention of functional decline, immobility and falls.
  • Advise and spar with staff on mobilization, training, transfers and assistive devices.
  • Support a rehabilitative and activating approach in daily life.
  • Contribute to health-care development at the nursing homes.
  • As coordinator for improvement agents you shall
  • Coordinate and support PlejeGribskov's improvement agents.
  • Facilitate network meetings and exchange of experiences.
  • Support local and cross-site improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new work processes and development projects.
  • Create engagement and buy-in around improvement work.
  • Contribute to learning and quality development across our nursing homes.

We expect that you

  • Are a licensed physiotherapist.
  • Are preferably trained as an improvement agent.
  • Have experience with maintenance training, rehabilitation or the elderly field.
  • Have an interest in quality development and improvement work.
  • Can build relationships and bring people together around common goals.
  • Have good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Work independently and in a structured way.
  • Thrive in an organization that is developing.

Who are we?

At PlejeGribskov we work every day to create safe, dignified and meaningful lives for the people who live at our nursing homes. We have high ambitions for professional quality and believe that the best solutions are created through interdisciplinary collaboration, shared learning and ongoing improvements.

Therefore we are seeking a physiotherapist who not only has strong health-professional competencies but who is also motivated to bring people together around common goals, create development in practice and contribute to strengthening quality across our nursing homes.

You should be eager to be a visible professional resource for leaders and staff, support the rehabilitative approach and help translate good ideas into concrete improvements that make a difference for residents, relatives and staff.

We offer

  • An exciting and meaningful position with great potential for influence.
  • A unique combination of physiotherapy, health-care development and quality work.
  • Opportunity to influence maintenance training and the development of tomorrow's nursing homes.
  • Committed managers and staff who want to develop elder care together.
  • A strong professional community focused on learning, collaboration and results.
