Then you are the one we are looking for to our neurological physiotherapist team as of 01.01.27 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

About the position

As a physiotherapist in the neurological physiotherapist team you will be a central part of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with acute stroke as well as patients within the general neurological specialty.

You will work closely with doctors, nursing staff, occupational therapists, speech therapists and neuropsychologists in a dynamic environment where rapid clinical decisions and interprofessional sparring are part of daily life.

The position is located in Physiotherapist Team 1, which consists of 14 dedicated physiotherapists, one development physiotherapist and one senior physiotherapist.

The team primarily handles physiotherapeutic tasks within stroke and general neurology, and additionally collaborates with the Respiratory Center East and the clinic for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).

The position is 37 hours and includes on-call work about every 12th weekend, followed by weekday time off. In addition, 1-2 public holiday shifts per year can be expected.

Your tasks will include

  • Early physiotherapeutic assessment in the acute course
  • Functional assessments, including tests, mobilization and positioning as well as initiation of self-training and development of rehabilitation plans
  • Planning and execution of targeted, evidence-based interventions
  • Participation in interprofessional conferences and discharge processes
  • Supervision and feedback to colleagues and physiotherapy students

We are looking for someone who

  • Is a licensed physiotherapist with Danish authorization
  • Has an interest in and/or experience with neurology and the acute field
  • Thrives in an environment where no two days are the same
  • Can work independently but also values strong collaboration
  • Is professionally curious and confident working in a fast-paced setting
  • Wants to influence the development of neurological physiotherapy in the acute setting
  • Has an engaged and professional approach to your work tasks and the development of your profession
  • Is aware of your own resources and limitations

We offer

  • An exciting everyday life with meaning – right where it matters
  • Primary function within neurology
  • Good opportunities to apply and develop your professional and personal competencies.
  • An open and humorous collegial environment
  • Influence on the development of workflows and patient pathways
  • Close interprofessional collaboration and good opportunities for professional sparring. Interprofessional learning and collaboration are a fixed and important part of daily life
  • Focus on wellbeing, professionalism and balance between work life and private life
  • A thorough onboarding, with a fixed mentor, so you feel well prepared for the tasks
