At the Krohaven Nursing Center in Vemb, we are seeking a care home manager who wants to take on leadership responsibility and develop in the role. Perhaps you have already tried your hand at smaller leadership tasks, coordinated a workday, or taken special responsibility for professional development. You do not need to have extensive leadership experience. The most important thing is that you want to lead, are willing to learn, and have an eye for people, professionalism and operations.

Your role and your tasks

Krohaven has 26 care homes and two temporary places. 10 of the care homes are special dementia units.

As care home manager at Krohaven you will have responsibility for the daily management and operation of the care center. You will work with personnel management, employee well-being, recruitment, sick leave, staffing and finances. Together with the staff you develop the quality of care and assistance based on the residents’ wishes, life stories and needs.

You will become a central part of the cooperation with staff, residents, relatives and other partners. It requires that you can set direction, make decisions and at the same time be curious about your own development as a leader.

You will work on further developing the dementia initiative, and in addition we are facing further development of holistic care at the care centers in Holstebro Municipality.

Through a specially organized two-year development program you will have the opportunity to gain experience and strengthen your leadership skills in practice with support from an experienced leadership mentor and sparring from your leadership colleagues.

You will have the opportunity to focus on the leadership task. A shift planner, an administrative employee and our staff functions support you in everyday life so you can focus on staff, residents and professional quality.

About you

We imagine that you have experience with smaller leadership tasks, trusted positions as a shop steward or a special responsibility for professional development. Maybe you are the person others naturally turn to when there is a need to gain an overview, find solutions or follow up on a challenge.

We place emphasis on your personal and relational competences. You do not need to have all the answers, but you must have the courage to be curious and to develop solutions together with others.
