Nursing home manager wanted for Møllegården Nursing Home in Hadsten

We are now seeking an ambitious and approachable leader for Plejehjemmet Møllegården in Hadsten. As the care home manager at Plejehjemmet Møllegården you will have the opportunity to shape everyday life for both residents and staff through close collaboration with the assistant manager.

Plejehjemmet Møllegården is centrally located in Hadsten with a short distance to the town’s life and the train station. The care home houses 43 homes distributed across four clusters, of which one cluster is a secured unit with 13 homes for people with dementia. We work from person-centered care, where residents’ quality of life and participation are central.

Daily life at Plejehjemmet Møllegården is characterized by high professionalism, strong relationships and close collaboration with residents, relatives, volunteers and civil society to create good moments and activities for the residents.

You will lead an engaged and interdisciplinary team consisting of social and health staff, centre nurse and the assistant manager, all of whom are passionate about creating a meaningful and secure everyday life for residents and relatives.

About you and your leadership task

We are looking for a care home manager who has the will and courage to lead from the front, and to be present and clear in collaboration with residents, relatives, staff and the assistant manager. You have strong competencies in relational coordination and professional leadership, and you are able to create structure, clear boundaries and a healthy working environment in a complex daily life.

You work systematically to develop quality so that the health care efforts and the physical framework support the residents’ quality of life. It is essential that you are aware of your position as a role model and insist that everything we do starts from creating value for the residents.

• Have experience with leadership, preferably within the elderly or health sector, and are motivated to develop yourself in a role leading both leaders and staff.

Salary and employment terms

The position is covered by the salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for your professional area as well as the local agreement for leaders in the elderly sector in Favrskov Municipality.

It is a full-time position with employment under the current collective agreement. Your immediate supervisor will be area manager Henrik Lykke.
