PPR Consultant for Center for Family and Counseling

When you work as a consultant

Your primary task is to support pedagogues and teachers in developing high-quality learning environments, with a practice-based approach, so that all children and young people have the opportunity to thrive, learn, and develop.

You will in collaboration with your multidisciplinary district team and with day care centers and schools collaborate on the early and preventive efforts – with a strong emphasis on collaboration and inclusion of the children’s understandings and perspectives.

Your tasks will include

• Support, collaborate and lead change processes of a pedagogical and didactic practice that creates participation opportunities for all children and young people
• Initiate processes around the learning environment and classroom management by applying different approaches and tools, such as observation and sparring, analysis models etc
• Actively participate in collaboration with teachers and pedagogues on initiatives in the rooms and in the classrooms, focusing on children's and young people's participation opportunities in the communities and learning environments
• Actively contribute to the development of action plans with a focus on interventions for all children and young people
• Actively contribute to the development of other materials that support dialogues between children and young people and their pedagogues and teachers
• Participate together with colleagues in consultative guidance in day care centers and in schools,
• Participate and actively contribute to the process of developing cross-professional collaboration in the district team
• Participate and actively contribute to the professional community at subject-group meetings, learning meetings and supervision

PPR Frederikssund

In PPR Frederikssund you are part of a multidisciplinary district team, where we create good opportunities to test new and co-created initiatives in both day care and schools. In addition, you are part of your own professional group for PPR consultants, where professionalism and knowledge sharing are prioritized and you will always have the opportunity to find inspiration for your work with children and young people from the professional group.

We are about 35 employees in PPR; psychologists, speech-language therapists, physiotherapists – and occupational therapists as well as consultants.

In addition, PPR consists of 2 team leaders and 1 department head.

PPR is anchored in the Center for Family and Guidance, CFR, which besides PPR consists of the family department; authorities’ advisers, preventive consultants, family therapists etc., a secretariat and a family chief.

We expect that you

• Have a relevant academic background such as Cand. pæd. pæd. psyk. on top of a professional bachelor’s degree as physiotherapist or occupational therapist – or perhaps a psychomotor therapist
• Have experience with and/or knowledge about working to develop strong learning environments
• Have experience with and/or knowledge about special education as well as extensive knowledge of pedagogical and didactic methods
• Can work independently and in a structured way and have an overview to plan and prioritize tasks in close collaboration with your manager and your colleagues
• Are flexible and think creatively in the cross-professional task solving with the child and the young person at the center
• Can take part in various tasks across organizational interfaces
