About the job

Do you have experience with recruitment tasks in a public organization? And would you like to be part of a team with one of the state’s most important and exciting recruitment tasks?

Then you have the opportunity to apply for an exciting position as a recruitment partner in our recruitment team in Corporate HR in the Ministry of Civil Security and Preparedness.

About the Ministry of Civil Security and Preparedness

The Ministry of Civil Security and Preparedness, in close collaboration with the responsible sectors, is responsible for preventing, resisting and handling major accidents, crises, disasters and other events that challenge the fundamental functions of society – whether it is a cyberattack, sabotage, espionage or extreme weather events that hit. The aim is to integrate readiness, crisis management and resilience across sectors so that our society stands stronger – both in everyday life and during crises.

The ministry consists of the department and two professional directorates: The Danish Security Agency and the Emergency Management Agency.

Your role and your tasks

In the ministry’s new Corporate HR we will support the entire ministerial area. We are in an exciting phase where we are building Corporate HR, while also contributing to building the organizations we support. Corporate HR will include more than 35 employees, who will be organizationally anchored in the department and distributed into 5 teams.

We started our recruitment team on April 11, 2026, and the team, which includes 6 recruitment partners and a team leader, currently handles all recruitments for our department and the Danish Security Agency. In the long term, the team will also handle recruitments for the Emergency Management Agency.

You will become one of our 6 recruitment partners, all of whom have the task of assisting the C on corporate leadership with recruiting new employees. The team works closely with our upcoming administrative team, which handles all tasks related to onboarding of new employees, including setup in relevant state systems.

Your primary tasks will be to

  • ensure ongoing candidate communication, including invitations and refusals.
  • coordinate and participate in employment interviews, including calendar management, room booking and other practical matters.
  • prepare salary offers and handle salary negotiations with, among others, union representatives.

In addition, you will continuously contribute to developing and optimizing the team’s processes and tools with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will report to the recruitment team’s team leader.

Your place of work is primarily on Slotsholmen, where Corporate HR is based. You will however be able to work from Birkerød 2-3 days a week. You must be prepared for travel to Birkerød, Østerbro and/or Slotsholmen depending on need.

About you

You have a relevant bachelor’s degree or an office education and a minimum of 5 years of HR experience in the public sector, preferably within recruitment.

It is advantageous if you have experience recruiting IT specialists and technical profiles as well as generalists within HR or AC. Knowledge of the State Recruitment Solution is also advantageous as it is one of our central tools.

We also place emphasis on the following

  • having knowledge of public recruitment processes and terms of employment.
  • extensive experience with salary negotiation, including pay grading and composition of salary packages in relation to state pay scales.
  • being structured, able to handle many process steps and thorough with an eye for detail.
  • being able to maintain overview and personal calm, even when it is very busy.
  • being a good communicator, both in writing and orally.
