PPR Mariagerfjord seeks an intervention pedagogue

Do you want to contribute to developing the pedagogical practice in the municipality's day-care facilities? Are you keen to work with practice-oriented initiatives in day care, and do you see increased participation opportunities as the path to wellbeing and development? Then you are the person we are looking for! The position is 37 hours per week and is intended to be filled on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

PPR in Mariagerfjord Municipality is organized in both mono- and interdisciplinary teams. PPR's core task is, in collaboration with day care centers and schools, to contribute to ensuring that all children and young people have the opportunity to learn, thrive and develop, and to experience themselves as part of meaningful communities. We work with a strong focus on bringing our professional competencies into play to contribute to the creation of strong children’s communities.

You will become part of our professional group with intervention pedagogues, which is organized within PPR. We have a high professional level in PPR, which we continually work to develop in an interdisciplinary collaboration. In the work as an intervention pedagogue you will carry out various pedagogical interventions in the municipality's kindergartens, nurseries and home-based day care. The interventions take place at the individual, contextual and organizational levels.

This means that we work with the child, the adults in the pedagogical micro-environment and with the organization of the environment in close sparring with the leadership. This systemic approach is reflected in Mariagerfjord Municipality's Common Pedagogical Foundation, which we, together with day cares and schools, base our work on. This perspective requires that we dare to think anew in relation to how we can support the adults around the child to develop their practice.

In the interventions we have a particular focus on approaches that support the development of learning environments and contexts.

We in PPR Mariagerfjord have an ongoing focus on reflecting on our practice and developing it. You shall, together with your future colleagues, dare to put your own and others' professionalism under scrutiny. We are of the mindset that if we pool our knowledge and challenge each other, we can together arrive at the most optimal solutions. Your reflections and actions will thus play a central role in how tasks are solved. We view our organization as something we create together.

An effective solution to the core task and a good working environment cannot be created by anyone alone, not even the management. We must therefore, every day, constitute the organization and culture that solves the core task best. We place emphasis on, among other things, organizational membership and professional capital and expect that you have an eye for the contextual and relational aspects.

You should expect that the majority of the work hours will take place out in the institutions, and that you will therefore not have daily contact with your colleagues in PPR.

• Has practical experience and professional knowledge about pedagogy.
• Is reflective and able to use this knowledge to find new paths.
• Has a resource-oriented and appreciative approach to children, parents and collaborators in day care.
• Is able to work independently, in a structured way and plan their own work week.
• Has good collaboration skills and is focused on interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Is flexible and able to adapt to the tasks, families and institutions where the work is performed.
• Can express themselves both orally and in writing.

Salary and employment terms

Employment is on collectively agreed terms, where the salary is negotiated with the representative organization. PPR has an office at the town hall in Mariager. It is necessary that you have a car available, as the work takes place out in day-care institutions. Criminal record and child protection checks as well as references will be obtained, and employment is conditional upon these being approved. To be employed in Mariagerfjord Municipality you must have MitID.
