Production Manager for the Afternoon Shift at the Hospital Laundry in Holbæk

The laundry team at RS Laundry is seeking a production manager for the afternoon shift, who in collaboration with the current production manager on the day shift, reporting to the laundry manager, is responsible for the daily management of the operation in the laundry. We ensure that hospitals, psychiatry and many others in Region Zealand receive clean uniforms as well as clothing and bed linen for the patients every day.

In 2025 we started a completely new workplace. That means new premises, new machines and a completely new organization. You will be trained by the existing production manager and the experienced staff from our laundry.

Your tasks will include

As production manager you will be responsible for the entire team of production and packing staff in the time period 12:00 – 20:00.

You steer the laundry through daily challenges with responsibility for the daily planning and operation. Your job is to ensure that all transitions and plans are carried out efficiently.

• Planning of workflows
• Responsible for daily production flow in collaboration with the production manager colleague and the laundry manager
• Maintaining set production targets
• Introduction of new employees and training of staff
• Ensure well-being and conduct care and development (MUS) conversations
• Responsible for shift schedule information for payroll processing
• Follow-up/development and proposals for improvements and changes
• Quality assurance, quality control and daily time usage during the work
• Staff welfare in the laundry within applicable guidelines and policies
• Maintenance of machines and tools in-house

Who are you?

• You have management experience and preferably experience from the laundry industry (not a requirement)
• You have knowledge of LEAN management and preferably TWI
• You are collaborative while also being independent and proactive
• You have a practical approach to the work
• You are quality-oriented and solution-oriented

Starting salary for collective agreement employees

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base pay, centrally set allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
