Production Manager for Bissenbakker Steel & Supply A/S

On behalf of Bissenbakker Steel & Supply A/S in Sønder Bjert, Career | a JKS Company is seeking an experienced production manager who can lead the daily operation and management of the company's production.

You will have the management responsibility for around 20 employees, including three apprentices, and you will be a central person in the collaboration between production and project managers. With your professional background you will be visible and accessible on the shop floor, where you contribute with technical sparring and ensure overview and progress. You will have a large responsibility with freedom to shape workflows, priorities and the continued development.

Your primary areas of responsibility will be

• Daily personnel management with focus on clear communication, well-being, employee development and follow-up on apprentices.
• Planning and coordination of production in close collaboration with the project managers with a focus on capacity and delivery times.
• Ensuring quality through continuous control, documentation and follow-up on deviations.
• Working with production data and KPIs, including development of relevant measurement points based on Monitor ERP.
• Ensuring structure and efficient workflows in production.

About you

You have a relevant skilled background, for example as a locksmith, and solid experience with leadership from a production company. You have extensive knowledge of metalworking and welding processes, particularly TIG- and MAG/CO2-welding in thin sheet, and your professionalism makes you a natural sparring partner for both employees and project managers.

As a leader you are clear, decisive and present. You manage to create buy-in, set clear expectations and follow up on the agreements that are made. You take natural responsibility, work independently and thrive with the freedom to make decisions, set direction and carry your initiatives into life.

• Have strong IT skills and work in a structured and data-driven way. Experience with Monitor ERP is an advantage.
• Have an eye for quality, efficiency and the link between production, planning and delivery.
• Be good at communicating and collaborating across disciplines.
• Be able to operate in English, both spoken and written, including in connection with technical documentation.
