About the job

Professionally skilled and community-building pedagogues for Agedrup School and SFO

Are you a professionally aware, curious and development-oriented pedagogue with a eye for children's participation opportunities – and would you like to help create a strong link between school, SFO, play, learning and communities?

Then you might be one of the three pedagogues we are looking for at Agedrup School and SFO.

At Agedrup School we are seeking three professionally skilled pedagogues for fixed full-time positions in the school’s child environment and SFO.

The positions will be linked to year groups in the Child Environment, and all will have tasks in both the school and SFO.

The positions are in the following year groups

The position in the 0th year and SFO – here we are looking for a pedagogue with strong professional and relational skills and with special educational competencies, working from a community- and resource-oriented pedagogical perspective. Preferably with experience from working with autism and other developmental disorders.

The positions in the 0th and 1st year and SFO – here we are looking for two professionally and relationally strong pedagogues for the year group's class.

You have experience with or an interest in language development and reading, because Agedrup School is a language-mentoring school and in the 0th and 1st year it is an obligatory focus area.

About us

At Agedrup School the vision for today’s children and youth is clear. In addition, it is not only a vision, but a humane view from which we meet both children, parents and each other -

”We want to be a school where children, young people and adults flourish, and where we make an effort to see, hear and understand all children. In joyful, safe communities with high ceilings we explore the world with the head, body and heart.”

Our vision is not just words on a wall, but words we create school from together. We believe that a good school is something we do together. We see the potential in every child, and therefore work from a resource-oriented perspective on children, families and each other, because we know that what we focus on is what grows.

Agedrup School is a lovely and diverse two-track public school with about 340 pupils and around 35 pedagogical staff. We are organized in the Child Environment and the Youth Environment, and you will become part of the Child Environment, where school and SFO work closely together for the children’s well-being, learning and development.

At Agedrup School we work especially with three common development tracks

  • Strong child communities and participation opportunities for more
  • Academic uplift
  • Strengthened cooperation with parents

As a pedagogue you will become an important co-creator of this direction – both in the school part, in the SFO and in collaboration with children, parents and colleagues.

As a pedagogue with us you will play a central role in creating cohesion in the children’s day across teaching, breaks, play, relationships and leisure. We see the pedagogue’s professional competence as essential to building a bridge between school and SFO and to strengthening the children’s well-being, participation and communities throughout the day.

You will be part of the team collaboration around the year group you are attached to, where teachers and pedagogues together work with learning environments, class communities, the children’s participation opportunities and the shared pedagogical direction.

SFO at Agedrup School

In the SFO we are in the middle of an exciting development process, which is about creating an even stronger pedagogical practice with high quality.

That means that we, with curiosity and professional awareness, look at our practice, reflect and adjust where there is a need for it.

We want you to support this work with your experience of systematically working with pedagogical development, so that we create an exciting and vibrant SFO that all children want to be part of.

We work from an approach that children develop in relationships with other children and adults. We support, inspire and give space to play.

We work with a pedagogical annual wheel and pedagogical activities, where it will be possible for you to put professional and creative competencies into play.

We have a special focus on diverse and strong child communities, and we have a mentalizing approach to both children and each other, just as we are in the process of implementing diverse leisure time.

The SFO is open until 16.45 Monday-Thursday, and Friday until 16.30. You should therefore expect working hours that take place in the afternoon.
