Educator sought for Valhalla Kindergarten

We are looking for an engaged, professionally strong and caring educator who can be the caravan leader for a group of fantastic, playful and imaginative children.

The position is in Valhalla's kindergarten division.

As an educator at Valhalla you will be part of a small primary group and part of a smaller team, where the majority of your colleagues are trained educators, and where we work closely with skilled assistants. We prioritize professionalism and have allocated one hour per week for preparation for educators. In addition, minimum staffing levels are met.

The Valhalla Daycare House is located in a scenic natural setting on the edge of Hareskoven, which makes nature and outdoor life a major part of our daily life. We see nature as a valuable learning environment that creates opportunities for presence, calm and immersion.

We work with fixed weekly plans based on overarching themes, such as adventures and sprout projects.

Our pedagogical work has a particular focus on

• Body and movement
• Nature and outdoor life
• Language

All of this happens through a playful approach to the activities. For us, the sense of community is central, and our most important task is to create participation opportunities for all children.

Your competencies

• You are a trained educator
• You see possibilities rather than limitations in the children
• You are academically well-founded and can translate theory into practice
• You show joy and enthusiasm in your interaction with the children.

What you get with us

• Professionally strong colleagues
• An educational leader close at hand
• Time for preparation
• Good physical facilities – both indoors and outdoors
