  • ensure continuity and be the driving force in the project's day-to-day progress
  • report, document and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • develop a smooth and constructive collaboration with the many different disciplines involved in the exhibition work
  • manage schedules, milestones and budget
  • handle tenders
  • undertake invitation to tender
  • ensure procurement in accordance with applicable rules
  • organize meetings, travel and practical activities for the project team

Qualifications

We seek a project manager who has

  • experience in managing complex projects with many stakeholders
  • experience with exhibition production
  • ability to build networks, engagement and ownership among different stakeholders
  • strong skills in time and budget management
  • well-developed communication skills
  • experience with creative development processes, preferably in exhibition design or other spatial experiences
  • interest in and ability to understand historical themes
  • understanding of lightweight construction and structures
  • ability to work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented way

We envision that you have an academic creative education such as architecture and have completed relevant project management courses.

Salary and employment terms

The working hours are an average of 37 hours per week. We offer flexible hours. The workplace is Brede in Lyngby. Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the AC agreement in the state sector or another relevant collective agreement.

The position is intended to be filled with effect from March 1, 2027.

Application

National Museum's ambition is to create a workplace where diversity is not only tolerated, but actively promoted and valued. We therefore encourage all qualified applicants regardless of personal background to apply for the position.

We actively work to reduce bias in the recruitment process to ensure a diverse workforce and to ensure that we hire the best-suited candidates based on professional and personal qualifications. Therefore, please refrain from including a photo in your CV.
