Project Manager for in-situ concrete casting

Are you dedicated to the construction industry and perhaps particularly curious about in-situ concrete casting? In this exciting diverse role as a project manager, you will be responsible for ensuring strong foundations for construction projects of all sizes.

As a new employee at Byggefirmaet Mogens Lund A/S, you can look forward to a welcoming and helpful culture. You will be thoroughly introduced to your tasks and receive the necessary training, and the trust that you can work independently with the tasks within a short time. You will become part of a team of three project managers, two estimation officers, and a QHSE Manager, who in collaboration plan and manage the projects in house to the last detail, is in place.

Your tasks

• Management of project economics and budgets
• Prepare a project plan with focus on deadlines, staffing, materials and finances
• Ordering materials for the construction sites
• Ensure the right staffing in all project phases. Coordination is carried out through weekly meetings with your colleagues
• Ensure the necessary equipment, such as machines, formwork, tools and a site cabin, is available on site before work starts
• Attend construction and safety meetings at the sites you are responsible for, and relay information to relevant colleagues
• Preparation of QHSE materials in accordance with the procurement plan, in collaboration with the QHSE Manager
• Conduct independent quality control in accordance with the established control plans for the project
• As part of the occupational health and safety organization, participate in planned activities to reach common set goals

Starting from your desk at the head office in Herning, you drive out to follow up on your projects at the construction sites. For projects of a certain size, it may happen that you will get a fixed office space on the construction site so you can follow the project closely.

Who are you

We imagine you have a crafts/trades education, such as a building structural designer, supplemented with building constructor, engineer, or other relevant education. It would be an advantage if you have experience as a project manager from a similar position.

To be successful in the job you must be service-minded and have good abilities to create and maintain a broad overview. A structured approach will ensure progress in the projects, and your good communication skills will ensure clear and explicit communication to all involved parties. You continually focus on quality and timeliness and think quickly towards new solutions when required. You have developed IT skills, and navigate well in various systems and Excel spreadsheets. It can be advantageous if you, in addition to Danish, can also make yourself understood in English.

The working hours are initially between 07:00 – 16:00, but you have the freedom to plan your working hours so they fit with your responsibilities in the job and your private life.

You are paid a fixed individually negotiated monthly salary plus pension and health insurance. In addition, you will be provided with a mobile, a PC, work clothes and a company car.

Bricklayer master Mogens Lund and his partner started the company in 1972 under the name Lund og Vestergård. In 1986 Byggefirmaet Mogens Lund ApS was founded with Mogens Lund as sole owner, and the company's tasks consisted mostly of single-family housing construction.

In 2005 Jakob Tveen became co-owner, and in 2012 Jakob acquired the remaining share and thus became sole owner of the company.
