About the job

24 mio. kr. til udvikling af Nordfyns skoler de næste fire år – vil du stå i spidsen for projekterne?

You will feel the difference

Over the next four years, Nordfyns Municipality's schools will be developed and improved for 24 million DKK.

It’s not just an investment grant. It is better frameworks for teaching, well-being and daily life for children and staff at the municipality's schools.

As a project manager you will be the central driving force in the projects. You will be close to both users, the projects and the political decisions behind them. This means you will have a large responsibility, but also the opportunity to follow the projects all the way from idea to finished result and experience the concrete value of your work.

Your tasks

Among other things you will

  • drive construction and civil engineering projects from idea to finished result
  • plan and carry out procurements and contract processes
  • manage finances, time and quality
  • collaborate with users, advisers, contractors and colleagues
  • handle the challenges that arise along the way

The tasks will be a mix of large and small projects. You will become our primary project manager for all projects at the schools.

Who are you?

You probably have experience with building or civil engineering projects.

But more important is that you

  • have experience with project management
  • can maintain an overview when several projects run concurrently
  • take responsibility, even when decisions are difficult
  • are good with people and collaboration
  • can create momentum without causing unnecessary conflicts
  • are willing to engage with the technical, financial and human sides of project management

What will you get with us?

We have a fruit scheme. We have a canteen. And yes, there is also a foosball table in the basement.

But what we hope you are seeking is something more than that.

With us you get a daily life where you are close to both leadership, political processes and the many tasks that help develop the municipality. You will become part of a department where the tasks span a wide range, and where you both get responsibility and the opportunity to put your own mark on how the tasks are solved.

You will have close cooperation with colleagues across the municipality, insight into the decisions and processes that shape Nordfyn, and a daily life where no week necessarily looks the same.

We are a small municipality, and you can feel it in a good way. You quickly get to know your collaborators, there is a short path from idea to action, and you can see the concrete value of your work. At the same time you become part of a workplace where we help each other, share knowledge and lift the tasks collectively.

About us

The Climate and Infrastructure department is part of the Directorate for Technology, Industry and Culture. The area consists, in addition to our client team, which you can become part of, of the Road Team, Climate Team and a number of decentralised areas, such as Technology and Service, Road and Park as well as Bogense Marina.

In Climate and Infrastructure at Otterup Town Hall we are 20 employees who, based on value-based leadership, treat each other, partners and citizens with trust and respect.

We work with a climate agenda as the starting point and have particular focus on energy-efficient, maintenance-friendly and sustainable materials and solutions in both renovations and new buildings.

In the client team we prioritise that both professionalism and well-being are high. We use each other's competencies and place a high value on team cohesion and physical presence at the office.

Have we sparked your interest?

Then send us an application where you tell us what you can contribute and what motivates you about the job.

Applications must be received no later than Thursday, 19 November 2026 at 8:00 AM.

We will hold the first interview on Friday, 20 November and the second interview on Tuesday, 24 November 2026.

The expected salary range will be disclosed at the first interview. The final salary is determined based on your qualifications and previous work experience and after concrete negotiation with the relevant trade union.

A criminal record check will be obtained before employment may take place.

We look forward to reading your application.
