Property caretaker / service technician

For a newly created position we are seeking an independent and responsible property technician/service technician for our health and care facilities at Brummersvej in Vejle.

The building, which previously housed Privathospitalet Mølholm, has been taken over by Region Syddanmark in connection with the Health Reform. Here, health and care facilities, acute nursing care and, in due course, expected rehabilitation facilities are being established.

Your tasks

• Daily operation, supervision and fault diagnosis/troubleshooting on technical installations such as lighting, ventilation and heating.
• Minor repairs, maintenance and practical tasks in the building.
• Maintenance of outdoor areas, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming and gardening.
• Preparation of rooms, minor relocations and assembly of furniture.
• Contact with external suppliers as well as handling of minor project tasks.
• Documentation, waste sorting and contributing to ensuring good working, safety and fire conditions.

We expect that you

• Have practical experience with property services, building maintenance, crafts or green maintenance.
• Have technical understanding and be able to handle minor repairs and operational tasks.
• Work independently, in a structured and responsible manner.
• Are service-minded and willing to go the extra mile for colleagues and citizens.
• Thrive working alone and can manage leadership remotely.
• Have good IT skills. Familiarity with DALUX is an advantage, but not required.
• Communicate well with colleagues and partners.
• Hold a driver's license for a passenger car.

The work is carried out primarily alone with a supervisor located at another site. Daily contact therefore takes place via meetings, telephone and digital channels.

About the Technical Department

The Technical Department services all Lillebælt Hospital sites and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of buildings, technical installations and equipment as well as technical supplies and construction projects.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment follow the Health Cartel's collective agreement with the possibility of individual supplements based on experience and qualifications. Information on starting salary can be found on Region Syddanmark's website . We envisage employment under collective agreement 32.15.1 or 32.23.1.
