Psychologist sought for an exciting split position between the Child and Adolescent Department and the Psychological Youth Clinic

Would you like to work therapeutically with children, parents, and adolescents – and at the same time have a daily life with a wide professional scope?

We are seeking a committed psychologist for an exciting and varied part-time position, where you will become part of both the Child and Adolescent Department and the Psychological Youth Clinic at North Jutland Regional Hospital. The position particularly offers the opportunity to combine psychotherapy work across ages and issues.

About the Child and Adolescent Department

At the Child and Adolescent Department you will be part of the psychological work with children and adolescents with somatic diseases and issues, including functional disorders. Tasks include psychological assessment and evaluation as well as therapeutic programs with children, adolescents and their parents. The work takes place in close collaboration with doctors, nurses and other professional groups around the child and parents.

About the Psychological Youth Clinic

At the Psychological Youth Clinic you will work with young people aged 18-24 years with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. The treatment is based on the transdiagnostic approach Unified Protocol (UP), offered via group or individual programs.

You will become part of a new offer in ongoing professional development, which means you will not only be involved in clinical practice, but also in quality development and further development of the offer.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a licensed psychologist who primarily wants to work clinically and therapeutically with children, adolescents and parents.

We place emphasis on you working independently while thriving in a close interprofessional and monofactorial collaboration. It would be advantageous if you have experience with children, adolescents and their parents, functional disorders, anxiety and depression or relevant therapeutic methods such as UP, MBT, ACT, KAT or CFT.

The position currently has a workplace in Hjørring, but since the Psychological Youth Clinic is still under development, a satellite function may be established in Frederikshavn in the future, and you should expect to work at both locations.
