Then the job as psychologist in the prevention center, Gladsaxe municipality, may be for you.

We are seeking a committed psychologist who wants to work with the concept “Open and Calm”. The position is 32 hours per week and the effort is documented in the municipality's journal system Nexus alongside data collection via Survey Xact.

Open and Calm is a preventive stress-relief program. The course equips the citizen to manage stress through dialogue, teaching, meditative and bodily exercises. Holistic work with body, psyche and social relationships. The program is manualized, but you also have the opportunity to put your own imprint on the content, didactics and dissemination. The Prevention Center offers a wide range of preventive initiatives within the municipal health system. You will become part of a team of health professionals, each with their own professional expertise that contributes to ensuring a multidisciplinary perspective and intervention for the citizen.

In connection with the effort it is your responsibility to ensure an active and continuous recruitment strategy, including communication and visibility of the efforts with respect to internal and external partners as well as municipal, regional and club organizations. Furthermore, it is your task to coordinate and collaborate with other professionals who have insight into and knowledge of the target group.

You are a psychologist (cand.psych.) and certified in the Open and Calm concept or are motivated to become so in spring 2027. You have experience with assessment, psychotherapy and group therapy. You have experience with stress and anxiety. You preferably have experience with different psychotherapeutic orientations, including e.g. narrative therapy, metacognitive therapy and/or ACT, as well as meditation-based interventions.

You work with health psychology and health education, including empowerment, action competence and self-care. You are strong in communication and dialogue both in writing and orally. You possess a toolbox of therapy, teaching and facilitation tools.

Your tasks

• Conduct clarifying conversations, with a view to assessing whether the citizen will benefit from Open and Calm, or whether they should be referred to another offering.
• Manage the Open and Calm groups themselves, including the associated individual conversations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with relevant institutions on the Open and Calm effort for the youth.
• Ad hoc tasks in collaboration with colleagues. Eg. teaching in the program courses (anxiety, depression and the emotional states that follow with heart-, COPD-, diabetes- and cancer diseases).
• Ongoing adjustment of the offering and workflows.
• Ongoing updating of the website, sundhed.dk and postcards.
• Work in Survey Xact and evaluation as well as collection of effects.
• Communication and dissemination about the Municipality’s Open and Calm offering to relevant actors and stakeholders.
• Recruitment of new citizens; including collaboration with other municipal units and general practitioners.
• Collaboration with the employment area, youth unit, general practitioners, the Foundation for Mental Health and other relevant partners.

The position is expected to commence February 1, 2027.

Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement and after concrete negotiation with the union organization entitled to negotiate.
