About the position

As a psychologist in PPR you work closely with the everyday life of children and young people in daycare and schools. You bring psychological expertise into play in collaboration with children, young people, families and professionals and contribute both to the development of child communities and to more individual interventions when needed.

You will participate in both consultative processes, psychological assessments, counseling and direct interventions with children, adolescents and families. The position comprises a wide range of tasks in the daycare and school area and offers a daily life with great variation and many collaboration surfaces.

If you have experience with or an interest in conversation-based processes as well as psychological assessments and interventions under the Child Act, we will have tasks within this that you can contribute to.

Your tasks may include

• pedagogical-psychological work in the daycare and school area
• collaboration with daycare and schools about children, child communities and participation opportunities
• counseling, sparring and guidance to leaders, teachers and pedagogues
• psychological assessments, investigations, conversations and other PPR-related tasks
• tasks under the Child Act, including conversation processes, psychological assessments and other individually oriented interventions to children, young people and families depending on your qualifications and interests
• participation in the municipality's accessible treatment offers for children and young people with mental distress.

• holds a cand.psych., preferably authorized or on the way to authorization

• can translate psychological knowledge into meaningful interventions in practice

• works independently while actively contributing to the professional community
• meets children, young people, families and partners with curiosity, respect and integrity

Practical information

The position is 30-37 hours per week by agreement.

As a rule you will be attached to one of the municipality's geographic areas, therefore you will have tasks at several addresses. Therefore a driving license and car is an advantage.

Salary and terms of employment according to the current collective agreement. A child protection and criminal record check and references will be obtained upon employment.
