About the job

Psychologist on the way to or starting a practice-based education? We see your potential

Gimle Psychology House seeks external psychologists for PPV tasks in South Zealand

Do you want to develop yourself as a psychologist and create your own working life with professional quality, ethics, and a strong community as its foundation?

We are looking for psychologists to collaborate on pedagogical-psychological assessments (PPVs) in South Zealand. We especially want to hear from you who are about to complete or are in the process of the practice-based education and are curious about life as an independent professional.

We believe you have something valuable to contribute already at the start of your career. Your knowledge, your questions, and your view of practice matter. We are focused on your potential and on how you can develop it through relevant tasks, professional feedback, and an engaged community.

Independent with professionalism, ethics, and safety as a foundation

You may have encountered skepticism about becoming independent before completing the practice-based education. This can create doubt about whether it is a possibility for you.

At Gimle Psychology House we believe that life as an independent professional can be combined with ethically responsible practice and safety in professional development. It requires relevant tasks, attention to one's own competencies, and access to qualified feedback, sparring, and supervision.

You should have the opportunity to take responsibility while still being under development. Asking questions, knowing your limits, and seeking help are, to us, part of good psychological professional practice.

A community that knows the beginning

We are used to welcoming psychologists at the beginning of their working life. We continuously develop our approach, so we become increasingly sharp about what is needed when professional knowledge is translated into practice, and we always welcome feedback.

With us you become part of a dynamic and living professional community, where many of your colleagues were new not long ago. Here there is an understanding of both the engagement, the uncertainty, and the questions that come with the first years of psychology work.

We value your curiosity and your perspectives and would like to help you notice your strengths and develop your professional confidence.

Feedback, supervision and inspiration to get started

All written outputs go through professional quality control, and you receive concrete feedback on your deliverables. This supports the quality of the tasks and gives you the opportunity to develop your professional assessments and your written communication.

There is the possibility of supervision with us, and we are also happy to help find relevant supervisors in connection with the practice-based education.

Considering establishing your own business, we are happy to share our experiences and practical advice that you can draw on when taking the first steps. You do not need to have all the answers in advance.

About the tasks and the professional approach

The collaboration includes PPV tasks in South Zealand. Through conversations, observations, and relevant psychological assessments you contribute to illuminating the child’s needs and possibilities in the learning environment.

We emphasize that you can work within the professional framework and with the contextual understanding that the client requests. The child’s well-being, development, and challenges must be understood in relation to relationships, learning environments, and other life conditions.

You must be able to integrate independent psychological assessments with the task’s purpose and the client’s need for usable knowledge. The recommendations must be clear, relevant, and feasible to implement in concrete pedagogical practice.

We would like to hear from you who

·          Is educated cand.psych. and is about to complete or is in the process of the practice-based education.

·          Has an interest in children, adolescents and the pedagogical-psychological field.

·          Is curious about creating a working life as an independent professional.

·          Wants to develop your assessment skills and your written communication.

·          Is open to feedback and takes responsibility for your professional assessments and deliverables.

·          Takes ethics and your own competence boundaries seriously.

·          Wants to contribute to a professional community.

Experience from PPR is an advantage but not a prerequisite to contact us. If you are a more experienced psychologist who can see yourself in our professional environment, we would also like to hear from you.

Collaboration as an independent professional

We enter into agreements with independent psychologists for defined tasks. Scope, deliverables, remuneration, and other terms are agreed for the individual task. You choose which offered tasks you want to take on, and you can also have other clients and partners.

Let us hear who you are

Send a short application and your CV to [email protected] . Tell us what engages you professionally, what you want to develop, and what you hope for in a collaboration.

You are also welcome to contact us at 22814502 for a non-binding conversation. You do not need to have decided to become independent – curiosity is a good place to start.
