About us

Lindersvold is a private residential facility beautifully located in scenic surroundings near Faxe. We have capacity for 13 residents, all youths and adults aged 17–50 years, who live with various challenges such as autism, ADHD, low cognitive functioning and effects of neglect. Our services are operated in accordance with the Social Services Act sections 43, 107 and 108.

With us we work holistically and place great emphasis on relationship-based pedagogy, low arousal and "small steps" . We create safe, predictable and meaningful frameworks, where residents' well-being and development are at the center – and where respect and presence permeate our approach.

Our everyday life

We have a diverse and active daily life with both structure and flexibility. On site we have horses and chickens , and we involve residents in caring for them and in maintaining green areas. We collaborate closely with STU, and several of the young people participate in fitness twice a week . There is a strong focus on supporting residents to achieve mastery and independence – at their own pace.

We are looking for you who

• Are trained pedagogue – preferably with experience within the social- and special-pedagogical field.
• Have knowledge of – or a desire to learn about – low arousal and relationship-pedagogical methods .
• Are calm, structured and appreciative in your approach.
• Thrive in working with people with complex challenges and have an eye for the individual’s needs.
• Have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a professional and collegial community .
• Interviews are held on an ongoing basis
