Quality Technician

From analysis result to quality in the finished product

When quality must be documented, it is crucial that the analyses are reliable, the methods work, and the results can be used in practice. It will be your responsibility to help ensure this at Nammo Denmark's new factory in Elling.

We are seeking a Quality Technician with an interest in laboratory work, analytical methods and product quality. You will have a varied daily life, where you both work practically with analyses and contribute to developing the laboratory's methods, workflows and documentation. The position also includes tasks within NDT, including analysis of X-ray images, so you must thrive with both laboratory work and concentrated image analysis.

A daily life close to quality

You will become part of the quality department and report to our Quality Manager. Here you get an important role in the interaction between the laboratory and production, where your analyses and professional assessments help create a reliable basis for quality control and product release.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Perform HPLC analyses and other laboratory tests of raw materials, components and finished products.
• Analyze and evaluate results and ensure that data are correct and traceable.
• Coordinate laboratory tasks and ensure analyses are carried out on time.
• Maintain analytic methods, instructions and laboratory documentation.
• Investigate quality problems and contribute to finding causes and durable solutions.
• Ensure that laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Contribute to NDT activities, including review and assessment of X-ray images, after relevant training and certification.
• Collaborate with production and the quality department on analysis results and quality issues.

You will have the opportunity to build competences across the laboratory and the NDT area and to serve as back-up in the NDT function when needed.

The technical foundation

We imagine that you have a laboratory or technical education, for example as a laboratory technician or a bioanalyst. You may also be considered with other relevant background and practical experience from laboratory work, quality control or a manufacturing company.

It is an advantage if you have worked with HPLC, other analytical methods or quality data. Experience with NDT or image analysis is also an advantage, but not a requirement. Most important is that you have a systematic approach to your work and understand the importance of precise results and proper documentation.

You thrive with both the practical tasks at the lab bench and the analytical work with results, deviations and improvements. At the same time you are eager to learn new things and share your knowledge with colleagues.

You must be able to communicate in Danish and English, and you must be able to present a criminal record and obtain security clearance.

A laboratory to be built up

Nammo Denmark is in the process of establishing a new factory in Elling. That means you will not only become part of an existing daily routine – you also get the opportunity to influence how the laboratory should function in practice.

You will come close to both the construction of new workflows and the future production. There will be a need for your professionalism, your curiosity and your ability to create structure, so the laboratory can deliver results that both production and quality can rely on.
