Tjørnegårdsskolen has approx. 570 pupils from 0th–9th grade, a group scheme, an intermediary form, a school leisure scheme (GFO) and an after-school center (FC). The school has approx. 85 capable staff members and leaders who are proud of their school, and who work well together and help each other. Tjørnegårdsskolen is used to and values distributed leadership.

Tjørnegårdsskolen is, as one of 11 public schools in Gentofte Municipality, part of a cohesive well-functioning school area, and as a new principal you join a good school leadership community where you support and help each other. As a new principal at Tjørnegårdsskolen we expect that you have a teacher education, preferably supplemented with a relevant leadership education as well as relevant leadership experience. We emphasize that you are a visible team player who can balance taking leadership and giving space and distributing leadership. Experience with special education is an advantage.
