School nurse for the School Health Service

Salary and terms of employment

The vacant position is 32 hours per week to be filled by December 1, 2026. Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and local salary formation. The Secretariat for Children and Youth is located at Administration Center Fælleden 1, 8660 Skanderborg.

About the Secretariat for Children and Youth

The school health service in Skanderborg Municipality is organized in the Health Service in the Secretariat for Children and Youth. In the Health Service there are public health nurses as well as occupational and physiotherapists. We are organized into three groups - a infant group, a school group and a therapy group with two department heads and a leader. The Health Service is physically located at Fælleden, Skanderborg Administration Center, together with PPR, B&U secretariat and Family Counseling.

The Secretariat for Children & Youth deals with the municipality’s residents between 0 and 18 years. This covers everything from schools, kindergartens, PPR, and health service to SSP and specialist and social counseling. The task of Children and Youth is to support each family’s effort to create the good childhood, where children and young people thrive and develop in safe surroundings. All of this happens under the political vision that all children have the right to a good childhood where they experience joy, safety, engagement, enthusiasm and resilience in relation to life’s challenges.
