Security Manager wanted for Øresund Bridge

Would you like to help set the direction for railway safety on one of the Nordics' most complex infrastructures? Are you motivated by working with safety, technology and complex challenges?

On behalf of Øresundsbron we are seeking a safety leader who will play a central role in the work with railway safety and safety management on the Øresund Link.

You will become a central professional sparring partner in the organization and will work closely with both management, specialists, suppliers and relevant authorities in both Denmark and Sweden.

A role with development and responsibility

As safety leader you will have the professional responsibility for railway safety on Øresundsbron and a central role in ensuring that the safety management system functions, develops and complies with applicable requirements.

Your primary tasks will include

• Ensure operation, follow-up and continuous improvement of the safety management system.
• Identify, assess and manage safety risks and ensure systematic follow-up.
• Monitor developments in legislation, technical standards and authority requirements in the railway safety field.
• Coordinate incident reporting, accident response and preparedness on the railway.
• Follow up on safety goals, indicators, action plans and management reporting.
• Contribute to audits and management evaluations of the safety management system.

Øresundsbron is also developing and digitizing the work with railway safety, and you will therefore play an important role in the continued development. You will have the opportunity to influence both systems, processes and the overall safety culture in an organization where safety is absolutely crucial.

We imagine that you have

• A relevant short, medium or higher education degree, for example in engineering, railway or safety.
• Experience with railway safety, safety management, risk management or from another safety-critical organization.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements, safety processes and risk assessment.
• A structured and analytical approach and the ability to create an overview in complex issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, as you will have a broad contact surface across the organization and with external partners.
• A readiness to adapt and a responsible approach and you thrive navigating a daily life with high demands and many stakeholders.

Your base will be at Øresundsbron's Swedish head office in Lernarcken, and start is expected around December 1 or earlier.
