Head of Section for Onsite in Digitalisation and Technology (DIT)

At DIT we are looking for a strong and clear section head who can unite and develop our Onsite section, Onsite 1, across hospitals and satellite locations in North Zealand.

You will be responsible for an organization with highly specialized employees who every day ensure that technology and equipment function and support critical clinical workflows close to patient care. At the same time you will become a central driver in the transformation where local units must be developed into one cohesive organization with a shared culture, shared direction and shared ambitions. It is a role for someone who is motivated by delivering results through people. Someone who can lead at a distance without losing proximity. The health system faces historic changes. New technology, rising expectations for digital solutions and the move toward a unified health system place greater demands than ever on the digital foundations on which hospitals base their work. And not least a huge merger between the Capital Region and Region Zealand.

At DIT we must work daily to ensure that technology supports the clinic, patient pathways and the staff's work. Our ambition is not only to deliver operation and support. We want to create coherence, quality and future-proofed solutions that make a difference for people. As section head you will be an important part of this ambition with responsibility for employees who are close to users and their daily life, and who play a central role in making the technology function in practice.

A leadership task with great significance

You will become the leader of a section with employees and team coordinators spread across several hospitals and locations in North Zealand. The employees have a high professional specialization, while also handling a wide range of tasks and unforeseen situations in a varied daily life.

Your most important task will be, together with the other section heads in Onsite and the rest of Support, to create a common direction, culture and ambition for the area. You must create following through through a significant change journey, where strong local communities must remain a strength, while employees experience themselves as part of one cohesive organization.

At the same time you must ensure a stable operational delivery close to the clinic, develop strong professional environments and create the relationships that make it possible to lead with impact across geography.

You will have a central role in translating DIT's strategy into concrete reality for staff and hospitals. You must also create cohesion across geographies, cultures and professional environments.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience leading larger groups of employees in complex organizations
• Have documented success with change management and culture development
• Thrive being a visible leader across several geographical locations
• Can create followership among highly specialized staff and key professional personnel
• Have experience from operation-critical environments where stability and quality are crucial
• Are strong in collaboration in a management team that together will develop and strengthen a unified Support Unit across sections.

You do not need to come from healthcare. The most important thing is that you can create direction, results and coherence in an organization with high professionalism and many collaboration interfaces.

Salary and terms of employment

Collective agreement

The position is filled under collective agreement terms according to Agreement for Managers 22.02.1

Position

Other managers (level 49 with position allowance of DKK 40,976).

In addition to the starting salary you may have

• possibility to negotiate individual allowances depending on the position as well as your experience and qualifications.

The primary work location is Borgervænget 5, 2100 Østerbro, but in accordance with the role there will be activity tied to all section locations in North Zealand as well as meeting activities at the Region's other locations including especially Ringsted.

As part of the employment process a criminal record certificate will be requested. Employment also requires that you can be security cleared and subsequently maintain the required security clearance.

We become DIT

With the merger of the Capital Region and Region Zealand on 1 January 2027, the corporate operations area Digitalization and Technology (DIT) will be established. DIT will with about 1,600 employees be Denmark's largest public center for health technology.
