Service technician for servicing lifts

Versalift Denmark is part of Time Manufacturing Company. We work with the production, assembly and service of lifts and help our customers keep their equipment safe and operational.

To our service department we are seeking two service technicians, one for Hedehusene and one for our location in

Farsø, who enjoy working with mechanics, hydraulics and electricity – and take pride in finding

solutions and delivering good service.

About the position

Reporting to our Service Manager, you will become part of a team that services, repairs and maintains truck-mounted and self-propelled lifts. You will have a varied daily routine with both service tasks and troubleshooting when a lift does not function as expected.

You work on tasks in the workshop and at customers' sites and maintain ongoing dialogue with colleagues and customers about faults, solutions and the work performed. You will be responsible for carrying out your tasks thoroughly with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repair of lifts.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Use PCs and diagnostic tools for fault finding and adjustment.
• Replace and adjust components and verify the lift's function after repair.
• Document the work performed and record time and spare parts usage.
• Advise customers on the use and maintenance of their equipment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on technical challenges and contribute your knowledge.

About you

You have a relevant technical education, for example as a heavy vehicle mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic or similar. Experience from the lift or crane industry is an advantage, but most importantly is your technical understanding and your desire to get to know our products.

You have experience with troubleshooting and can work with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. You are comfortable using a PC as a work tool and are willing to learn new systems and technical solutions.&

As a person you are thorough, responsible and service minded. You work systematically and see your tasks through to the end. You thrive with independent work, but also ask for help and share your knowledge with colleagues. You respect that correctly performed work matters for both customers' operations and their safety.
