Then Give Steel A/S is looking for a site manager for

our installation department.

You will become part of a team of 10 site managers

and will have a central role in the daily coordination on larger and more complex

Why should you choose us?

At Give Steel you get a varied daily routine,

You will receive thorough training in the position and

be introduced to our workflows and projects.

What will your daily life look like?

As a site manager you will be involved from the preparation of

the installation to the daily follow-up on the construction site. You will review materials

before start-up, plan the installation and ensure that the installers have the necessary

information and materials.

On the construction site you will follow up on completed

works, coordinate with the client and subcontractors and handle the practical aspects of the

installation.

You should expect up to 200 travel days per year,

as the work takes place at different construction sites.

Your primary tasks

  • Coordinate closely with the project managers regarding the projects.
  • Inspect construction sites and contribute to the assessment of costs for

installation.

  • Review drawings and project material before installation start.
  • Develop plans for cranes and lifts.
  • Develop installation plans, including maps and sketches.
  • Check packing lists and ensure that the installers have access to the

necessary materials.

  • Follow up on project phases and ensure a sensible

planning.

  • Have daily contact with the client about installation and practical

aspects on the construction site.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors on site.
  • Ensure that quality control (KS) and self-inspection are performed.
  • Agree on any extra costs for external service or

installers with the client in collaboration with the project manager.

  • Follow up on daily progress and handle construction-technical

challenges.

  • Prepare

lifting plans and ensure that all lifting operations are planned and executed in

accordance with applicable requirements and safety procedures.

  • Prepare RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statement), including

risk assessments and work descriptions for the installation work.

  • Prepare and maintain necessary construction site documentation,

including access documents, safety documentation, authorities' requirements and

project-related registrations.

You are an active part of what happens on the

construction site, and you ensure that the work is performed in accordance with

current rules, laws and standards.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a site manager with building technical

insight and interest in steel installation.

We imagine that you

  • Have a good understanding of the construction of buildings and installation on

site.

  • Have technical knowledge about steel.
  • Have experience with or knowledge of welding, steel installation and

bolted connections.

  • Speak and understand Danish and English - also technically.
  • Are an experienced user of the Office package and IT in general.

Knowledge of DS1140 and Dalux is an advantage, but

not a requirement.

As a person you work in a structured and

detail-oriented manner, while you can maintain an overview. You can work

independently with your projects, but also enjoy being part of a team.

You are trustworthy in your contact with both

clients and colleagues and take responsibility for finding solutions when challenges arise on the construction site.

We offer

  • An exciting and varied daily life with both office and

construction site work.

  • Responsibility, flexibility and opportunity to influence your own

tasks.

  • Thorough training and opportunity for ongoing professional sparring.
