There are schools – and then there is Langå School. Here you feel something special when you step through the door. A "Langåsk" community marked by curiosity, creativity, presence and respect. Do you want to be part of our community, where we make a difference together, and do you have your heart in the right place? Then come and become part of the team.

Note: Short application deadline

Langå School is a well-run public school with around 400 pupils and 60 dedicated staff distributed across the school, after-school program (SFO) and the special class division (Satellite). We have two tracks from 0th–9th grade and a good collaboration between the general and special areas. The teaching is characterized by high professionalism and variety, where traditional teaching is combined with project work, outdoor learning and theme-based courses.

We work from Randers Municipality's Common Child and Learning Perspective and the Interdisciplinary Collaboration Model, and we emphasize that good school is created in collaboration between students, staff and parents. Inspired by Rasmus Alenkær's concepts of hospitality and co-hosting , we work to create frameworks where everyone feels part of a community — seen, included and meaningful.

Everyday life at Langå School is characterized by clear structure, communities and strong traditions – from morning singing and school parties to focus days and local events. Here learning and well-being go hand in hand to create the best everyday life for everyone.

We have a clear ambition: Langå School will be the first choice – for both students, parents and staff.

We are seeking a teacher who can teach physics/chemistry and mathematics. The timetable you would directly enter also includes physical education and N/T, but there may be opportunities to adjust this. Thus other subject combinations are also interesting.

We are seeking a teacher who is academically well-qualified, development-oriented, but who primarily focuses on relational and inclusive classroom management. And who, in collaboration with other class-teachers, is able to work inclusively as well as across year groups where it makes sense for the students’ learning.

You may relate to the fact that you

  • are passionate about all students feeling part of the community and becoming as proficient as possible
  • can collaborate with other teams and other professionals on the best possible support for both the individual student and the whole class and year
  • wish to further develop your professional, pedagogical and didactic work in collaboration with your teacher and educator colleagues
  • contribute to the continued good working environment and collaboration at both core-team, year group and department levels with an eye for the school as a whole
  • are trained as a teacher and have major subjects or equivalent competence in physics/chemistry

We offer

  • A school with engaged and professionally competent teachers and educators who are committed to making a difference for our pupils
  • A good working environment where we have a positive, solution-oriented and appreciative approach
  • A good collaboration between teachers, educators, leadership, parents and the school board
  • All new employees are also offered to become part of a network across Randers Municipality schools. There will be opportunities for experience exchange as well as introduction to school services, etc.

The "Langåske" culture is part of our school

Our school scores highly on the APV (employee satisfaction survey) and well-being measurements. With us you get a school with strong values, engaged staff and a work environment characterized by trust, cooperation and humor. You will become part of a school rooted in the local community with a view to the world – a school where both children and adults thrive, and where we together develop the future public school.
