Social and Health Care Assistant for a permanent night shift at Svane Pleje in Middelfart

We are looking for an engaged and professionally well-founded social and health care assistant for a permanent position as night shift to our team in Middelfart.

As a night shift assistant you will play an important role in ensuring safety, continuity and high professional quality for our residents through the night.

Your duties

As a fixed night shift, your tasks will include

• On-call function and responsibility for the health-care actions during the night
• To provide holistic care to our residents
• Handling acute calls and assessing residents in cases of suddenly arising illness or fall
• Observation and professional assessment of changes in residents' condition
• Update and documentation of residents' conditions and daily rhythms
• To create calm, security and continuity for the residents throughout the night
• Collaboration with colleagues and relevant partners regarding residents' pathways

We are looking for you, who

• Are educated social- and health care assistant and passionate about close contact with residents
• Thrive working independently and can maintain an overview in pressured situations
• Have good clinical assessment skills and can act on changes in residents' condition
• Are responsible and work in a structured manner
• Have good communication and collaboration skills
• Like working at night and appreciate the special calm and working style that accompanies night shifts
• Wish to contribute to creating quality and security for our residents

Experience from home care is a requirement. For us it is important that you have the desire and the professional competence to undertake the task.
