About Skanselyet Nursing Home

Skanselyet Nursing Home was established in 1997 and expanded in 2009. The nursing home today comprises 80 residences, including a ward for residents with dementia.

The residences are spacious two-room apartments with a living room, bedroom, entrance hall, kitchenette and bathroom. There is an opportunity for couples to live together.

Although Skanselyet physically consists of two buildings connected by a bridge, we see ourselves as one house with common values and a common direction. Our motto is:

We are seeking as of January 1, 2027 or by appointment.
