Social and Health Care Assistant for Evening Shift at Baldersbo Nursing Home

The evening shift is characterized by good cooperation, a high level of trust and low sick leave. We succeed in finding solutions together, and we all go to work with a positive attitude towards residents and colleagues.

We are a mix of social and healthcare assistants, nurses, social and health auxiliaries, managers, development nurse, cleaning staff, service employees, flex workers and a few unskilled workers. We also have students and responsible mentors.

A common thread for all of us is that we work towards the same goal, namely that our citizens have a good everyday life. We want employees who work with high professionalism and who dare to learn, with, from and about each other.

The house consists of five somatic departments and three dementia departments, it is in the somatic departments that we are seeking a new colleague.

Each department has fixed evening staff, and in addition there are two social and health assistants who work across departments and take care of care and support for the residents. It is for this role we are seeking a new colleague.

We are committed to the new elderly act on self-determination and quality of life. We focus on the individual resident and their needs and work consciously with professional knowledge sharing and collaboration – also across shifts – where the focal point is what is best for the residents.

You will have a leader who cares about a good working environment and employees who experience independence and feel seen. You are educated as a social- and health care assistant , and you are a team player who understands the importance of good communication and knowledge sharing. We depend on each other, and there is a need for a high level of trust, where we help each other and collaborate to become continually more skilled both as individuals and as a team. At the same time you can work independently and make decisions on your own within your own area of competence.

We work with FS3 and the care system Cura, so it is an advantage if you know it, and otherwise we will train you in it. We conduct daily triage in all shifts, and there is room for deepening and learning as well as teaching and courses. We place residents high and see confidentiality and well-being as important parameters for everyone.

Practical information

The shift plan is arranged according to the 5-2 model, with work every Wednesday and Thursday. Employment from November 1, 2026.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. We will obtain criminal record checks as well as references from previous employments in connection with the recruitment.
