Social and Health Care Assistant for night shift at Humlehusene Dementia Care Center

We are now looking for a social and health care assistant for a permanent night shift at Humlehusene Dementia Care Center .

We are looking for a colleague who will help create safety, calm, and high professional quality through the night for people living with dementia.

The position is on a 7-7 shift pattern , and from 2027 we will work in even weeks .

Humlehusene is a specialized dementia care center in Albertslund with six smaller living units with eight residents in each, three respite beds, and an attached day center. Our employees are all professionally educated, and we work every day to provide dementia care at the highest professional level with respect, care, and humanity.

The night shift has a special significance

For people with dementia, the night can be a vulnerable time. Therefore, the night shift plays a crucial role in creating security, preventing agitation, and ensuring that residents experience care and dignity around the clock.

As a night shift worker you will be an important part of a strong professional community, where independence, responsibility, and collaboration are key words. You will experience great variation in the work and have the opportunity to use both your nursing competencies and your human understanding in meeting the residents.

Your tasks

As a social and health care assistant on night shift you will, among other things

• Provide person-centered care and support to people with dementia
• Ensure safety and calm for residents through the night
• Observe and respond to changes in residents' condition
• Handle medication management and nursing tasks
• Document relevant observations and interventions
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the house
• Contribute to high patient safety and quality of care
• Help create good handovers between day, evening, and night shifts

• Be trained social and health care assistant
• Preferably have experience with dementia, but this is not a requirement
• Thrive working independently and taking responsibility
• Be professionally curious and want to develop yourself
• Have good collaboration skills and a positive view of people

• Be able to document and work in a structured way
