About the job

Social- and Health Care Assistant sought for our new screen unit

Do you want to use your healthcare education in new ways and combine citizen contact with technology and development? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you.

From 1 January 2027 we will gather the screen visits from Brøndby Municipality's three districts, Stranden, Vester and Øster, into one shared screen unit based in Brøndbyøster Home Care.

We are looking for an engaged Social- and Health Care Assistant who, together with a newly hired nurse, will help to build and develop the unit. You will be the two constant employees in the daily task execution, with sparring and support from the welfare technology consultant and management, as well as close collaboration with colleagues across the home care service.

It is an opportunity for you who want to be involved from the beginning, thinking creatively to ensure progress.

Your tasks

  • Take care of screen visits based on the clients' needs, wishes and prerequisites.
  • Create security and good relationships in the digital contact with clients.
  • Observe changes in clients' condition and convey relevant observations to the nurse or other relevant professionals.
  • Participate in the entire process around screen visits, from planning and introduction of the client to technical setup at home and follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with the nurse on daily task execution and the development of new work routines.
  • Contribute to spreading knowledge about screen visits and support colleagues in seeing the possibilities in digital contact. You must be proactive, ensure progress and take initiative in the project.

You will together find good solutions and create an efficient screen unit. The workflows are not predefined, and you will therefore have the opportunity to influence how tasks are solved in practice.

Who are you?

We are looking for a Social- and Health Care Assistant who is professionally engaged, curious about technology and eager to help develop a new function.

You do not need to have experience with screen visits. The most important thing is that you want to learn, take responsibility and help create good solutions for the clients.

With us you get the opportunity to help build a new function from the start and put your mark on how the screen unit becomes an integrated part of providing home care.

We offer you

  • A close collaboration with a nurse, where you jointly build and develop the screen unit.
  • Spare and project support from our welfare technology consultant as well as management.
  • A varied daily life with client contact, healthcare tasks and technology.
  • Opportunity to develop your competencies and contribute to new solutions in home care.

We believe that technology should make sense for the client. Screen visits should be used where they support the client's autonomy, security and quality of life, and where professional assessment shows that it is the right solution.
