A specialty with meaning – and room for you

We receive adults from all over Eastern Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland with severe acquired brain injuries after, for example, trauma, stroke, cardiac arrest or serious infections in the brain.

Patients often have complex care needs and long rehabilitation processes. With us, basic nursing care, instrumental nursing care, care and presence are an essential part of rehabilitation.

As a social and health care assistant you will have an important and independent role in the patients' everyday life, where your observations, professional assessments and relational skills make a real difference.

You will become part of a close interdisciplinary collaboration with nurses, doctors, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, speech therapists. We work together on the patient's goals and believe that the best results are created when we use each other's competencies.

Who are you?

You are trained as a social and health care assistant. Neurological experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you want to get to know an exciting specialty.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement for non-management staff in the Health Union’s area. The position is covered by the guidelines for obtaining a police certificate for children.
