About the job

Center for Health & Care seeks an engaged social and health assistant for the out-reach group Nordbyen as soon as possible or by January 1, 2027.

The position is 37 hours per week with mixed shifts and a weekend shift every other week. We prioritize individual considerations and see flexibility as a mutual responsibility between the workplace and the employee regarding working hours, place of work, and task execution.

About the position

In Nordbyen we work from a rehabilitative approach with a focus on citizens' resources, quality of life and independence. Everyday life is built on mutual respect, well-being and a strong professional community, where there is room for both humor, development and reflection.

We emphasise high quality in care and that all employees contribute to the core task through professional, responsible and caring task execution. As an employee you get influence on planning and execution of the tasks in close collaboration with your team.

In Guldborgsund Municipality we work from a shared understanding that we are loyal to political decisions and their managerial implementation. At the same time we expect all employees to contribute actively to an open and constructive dialogue about tasks, development and the working environment.

We offer

  • A good introduction - tailored to you and your needs.
  • A workplace in development, where we work in fixed teams with a high degree of influence.
  • Focus on multidisciplinary collaboration and professional relationships with citizens, relatives and partners.
  • A dynamic workplace where professionalism, collaboration and well-being are at the forefront.
  • Daily morning meetings and weekly multidisciplinary conferences focusing on complex citizen paths.
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal competence development through learning, sparring and continuing education.
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues who look forward to welcoming you.
  • An approachable management that values dialogue and works with clear leadership and clear expectations.
  • A group that values the social aspect at the workplace.

We seek a colleague, who

  • Is educated as a social- and health assistant.
  • Works with a rehabilitative approach.
  • Has a positive view of people and meets citizens with respect and dignity.
  • Appears and acts professionally in collaboration with colleagues, citizens, relatives and other partners.
  • Has a desire for ongoing professional and personal development and sees learning as a natural part of the job.
  • Works independently and takes responsibility for both tasks and the community.
  • Contributes actively to a good working environment through open and constructive dialogue.
  • Is willing to share knowledge, experiences and new perspectives with colleagues.
  • Is responsible, reliable and flexible.
  • Sees opportunities rather than limitations and contributes positively to development and solutions.
  • Focuses on professional documentation and understands the importance of correct documentation.
  • Ideally has knowledge of KMD Nexus and KVAS. Training will of course take place if needed.
  • Has a driving license.

At our workplace all employees have both the right and the duty to

  • Engage in an open and constructive dialogue.
  • Contribute to professional and personal competence development.
  • Actively participate in the collaboration around clear leadership and common goals.
  • Help create a flexible workplace where considerations for citizens, colleagues and operations go hand in hand.

We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming a new colleague to Nordbyen.
