Our expectations of you

We are seeking a social and health care helper or a social and health care assistant with experience or a desire to work in the elderly and dementia field. You are professionally grounded, reflect on your own practice, and work in a structured and safe manner within your competence area.

We expect, among other things, that you

• Can take responsibility for task execution based on the resident's needs and values.
• Are aware of your competencies and will use your colleagues as sparring partners.
• Are good at setting structure for yourself and colleagues and help create a good everyday life with a good tone.
• Have a flair for and understand the importance of documentation. We use Cura.
• Are flexible, service-minded and eager to work across disciplines with the rest of the house staff for the benefit of our residents, relatives and other guests.
• Can create homeliness, security and special moments together with residents and contribute to the good atmosphere at the home.

Your tasks

You will have a daily life close to the residents and be part of the daily care and nursing tasks. Your tasks include:

• Care and nursing tasks.
• To support a person-centered approach.
• To create continuity and coherence in relation to the care and treatment of the individual resident.
• To coordinate collaboration with the resident, relatives and other partners.
• Together with the other staff, you are focused on creating a rich and welcoming everyday life for the home's residents, and you manage to align health-related documentation and practice with humane care and compassion.

We hold department meetings every 4 weeks, with a high degree of psychological safety to discuss professionalism and resident conferences.

Practical information

The positions are permanent evening shifts, primarily in the dementia department. Desired to be filled as soon as possible, or by 1 January 2027 at the latest.

Plejehjemmet Kildehøj has 48 apartments, distributed across 2 ordinary departments with 18 residents each, plus a secured dementia department with 12 residents. You will primarily be attached to the secured dementia department, but must be prepared that we help each other throughout the house.
