Social and Health Care Assistant – with a holistic view of the whole person

Do you want to use your health expertise in a place where the relationship to the person is just as important as medicine, observations and documentation?

The Lindholm residential facility is seeking a social and health care assistant for employment from 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible.

We are not necessarily looking for someone who fits into a specific box. Perhaps you are interested in psychiatry, nature, outdoor life, movement or creative activities. The most important thing is that you want to bring your health expertise into the resident's everyday life.

About Lindholm

The Lindholm residential facility is a self-governing residential facility under the Danish Service Act sections 107 and 108. Our residents are adults with significant vulnerabilities who require daily support and guidance.

We work from a mentalizing approach and place emphasis on professionalism, relationships, curiosity, pragmatism and creativity. We aim to create development and quality of life together with each resident, and we are not afraid to think a little differently along the way.

Nature and activities outside the facility are becoming more and more part of our work, so it is a big plus if you also see opportunities in trips, movement, nature or other activities.

Your role

As a social- and health care assistant you will be an important part of our health care efforts with, among other things, medicine, observations, documentation and collaboration with doctors and other health care professionals.

But you will not only be “the health professional.” You will be part of the residents' everyday life and of a multidisciplinary team where we bring different professional backgrounds into play.

We would very much like to have an employee who has experience as a student supervisor or who in time would like the role. It is not a requirement that you are already trained as a student supervisor, but you should be able to see yourself teaching others, fostering reflection and helping develop future colleagues.

We imagine that you

• are trained as a social- and health care assistant
• have an interest in human vulnerabilities and complex problems
• are professionally curious and good at relationships
• can work independently while also being an active part of a team
• are keen to be interested in nature, activities and/or outdoor life or perhaps more alternative treatment methods
• can see yourself working with apprentices now or in time
• have humor and can remain calm and maintain an overview, even when daily life changes direction
