Social and Health Care Assistants Wanted for Kornumgaard Nursing Home

We are seeking several social and health care assistants for permanent positions – both day and evening shifts – 30-32 hours per week with every other weekend and on holidays. Employment desired as soon as possible or by agreement.

We work every day to

• give residents a home where dignity, security and quality of life are central
• support residents' resources and participation in daily tasks
• meet each person with respect, equality and involvement in decision-making
• address the whole person – physically, mentally, socially, culturally and spiritually
• work based on the principles of the new elderly act with a focus on holistic care, continuity and self-determination for the individual resident

Your main tasks

You will share responsibility for ensuring high quality in care and service with focus on

• the rehabilitative approach
• holistic care and an individually tailored effort for each resident
• homeliness and presence in everyday life
• coherence and continuity in resident pathways across day, evening and night shifts
• professional documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration

We are looking for you who

• are educated as a social and health care assistant
• work meticulously and have control of hygiene, medication handling and timely documentation
• preferably have experience with or an interest in working with people with dementia
• have a curious, reflective and appreciative approach to both residents and colleagues
• preferably have experience with Nexus

Who are we?

Kornumgaard is part of Danske Diakonhjem , where care and assistance are rooted in the Christian view of humanity.

The nursing home operates under a service agreement with Brønderslev Municipality and consists of three teams with a total of 70 housing units and its own production kitchen. We are also an educational site for social and health care assistants, social and health helpers and nurses.
