• A 37-hour position with work every third weekend and with both day and evening shifts.

Your educational background can also be nurse, social and healthcare assistant, or occupational therapist. The important thing is that you contribute your professional expertise to the social-care collaboration.

Botilbuddet Arendalsvej

Botilbuddet Arendalsvej consists of a care home and a shared housing where we collaborate in teams on the professional effort.

The social-care positions we are recruiting for are linked to the team at Arendalsvej 280.

The care home at Arendalsvej 280 is for 9 residents with permanent mental and physical disabilities and residents with autism spectrum disorders. Residents' support needs range from full assistance with everything in daily life to residents with moderate support needs. The facility also has 2 apartments for residents needing respite.

The co-housing community is for 8 residents with developmental delay who in varying degrees need support to develop their physical and mental competencies and support for social interaction.

We put the individual resident at the center and value professionalism, dignity and engagement, so the care home is a good place to live.

We use KRAP as a social-care approach and focus on giving residents as much influence over their own lives as possible. We support and guide residents regarding ADL, communication, self-care, practical tasks, personal care, treatment and social relationships.

• Have experience with residents with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
• Have an appreciative and resource-focused approach.
• Have knowledge and experience in Low Arousal.
• Have knowledge and experience in working with risk assessments.
• Are curious and work well in collaboration with many actors.
• Are conscious of your communication style and own signals
• Can communicate and document your efforts
• Can plan and initiate activities together with each individual resident
• Can support residents in forming relationships and building networks
• Can help ensure residents' physical and mental health – through both health-care and social-care efforts
• Have IT flair
• Have a desire to contribute to developing the professional effort based on your own professional background
• Have a driver's license
