Social- and health care assistant apprentices for Foundation Course 2 + EUX SSA education starting January 18, 2027

Are you eager to gain knowledge and skills so you can take on a large responsibility in the health sector while also pursuing an HF?

Then we have an exciting apprenticeship for you. We are looking for EUX social- and health care assistant apprentices for Køge Municipality, and we guarantee an apprenticeship place for both the basic course and the main course.

Admission requirements You must have Danish and mathematics at the 9th grade level with a grade 02 or better.

Who are we? Køge Municipality admits and educates social- and health care assistant apprentices on an ongoing basis.

Our practice placements in home care, at nursing homes and in social psychiatry focus on creating good learning environments by ensuring that the apprentices become a natural part of the colleagues’ group.

In each internship you will have a supervisor who ensures that you achieve your internship goals through weekly guidance conversations and planned study time.

We also focus on a good introduction so that you as an apprentice feel completely secure with the tasks you will perform.

We offer You should thrive in an unpredictable everyday life, where the citizen is at the center and where your professionalism and commitment make a difference. You will pursue an education that can be used in hospitals, in psychiatry, and not least in home care. In addition, you can continue your education.

Your work tasks will be holistic care and practical assistance, basic nursing including medication management, working with health promotion and disease prevention, and helping the citizen to an active life including rehabilitation. You will work professionally, interdisciplinary and across sectors.

During the entire education, the working hours are 37 hours per week, and you should expect evening and weekend shifts.

When you enter into an educational agreement with Køge Municipality, you will receive pay throughout the entire education.

Pay terms will be according to the current collective agreement with FOA www.foa.dk .

If you are over 25 years old, you will receive adult apprentice pay.

Køge Municipality is your employer during the entire education.

We are looking for We are looking for SSA apprentices who are ambitious and ready to learn new things and take responsibility for their own education, are innovative and can cooperate respectfully with citizens and colleagues.

Your educational program alternates between school and internship.

The education starts on January 18, 2027 and lasts 4 years.

The first 20 weeks are Basic Course 2, which is at ZBC Køge or Roskilde.

The main course is at ZBC Roskilde.
